American Cowboy Magazine Adds Six AIM Awards to Trophy Case

Boulder, CO—American Cowboy Magazine, a Western lifestyle publication, won six All Industry Marketing (AIM) awards at a recent ceremony in Scottsdale, AZ. The annual awards are presented by the Western & English Trade Association.

American Cowboy won two Gold AIM awards: one in the Events category for National Day of the American Cowboy, and another for “The Will Rogers Articles” in the Consumer General Interest category. The magazine also picked up four bronze AIM awards in the following categories: Cover-Consumer for their May/June 2006 issue; Consumer General Interest for “All Around Champions of the World”; News or Feature Articles for “Storytellers of the Southwest”; and Publications-Consumer, Print for their September/October 2006 issue.

“We are very proud of the efforts of our staff in making American Cowboy such a great magazine. All of us here at American Cowboy are honored to receive recognition from our peers in the industry,” says Bill Garrels, publisher of the magazine. American Cowboy also was the only magazine to win a prestigious Wrangler Award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum earlier this year for “Six Days Ablaze.”
